Webmaster's Notes: Tom Sparks was a dear friend and my Internet Consultant on Sigsbee502 website from it inseption in 1998 until he became ill in the fall of 2006. I knew very little about HTML and FTP but quickly learned from Tom as he kept our site up and running over the years. In 1996 I set up an AOL home page entitled "Sigsbee502" with a photo of the USS Sigsbee DD502 and my story entitled "My 30 Months on the USS Sigsbee DD502". Two years later Tom Sparks assisted me in obtaining our present domain, www.billykrsigsbee502.com and redirected hits on my  AOL Sigsbee502 home page to the new domain. Everyone who has visited my web site can thank Thomas Clarence Sparks for what they saw - - without Tom Sparks the site would not be there. He was "the Man behind the Man". With his memory fresh in mind I will carry on.
